Stretch Goal #3 Unlocked & Goals 4-6 are here!

Hey Crafters!

Woah! We woke up to y’all absolutely KILLING stretch goal #3! Thank you all so much for your support. It’s been a great journey to bring ArchRavels to you, and we’re stoked to share what’s in store.

We’re onto more stretch goals as we’ve just blown past the first three! To recap, the game now has…

  • An improved game box by adding comfy soft touch coating AND some slick spot UV
  • Four new cool and unique characters to play as in the game, and
  • Four new projects, including the ever necessary “Naptime,” for you all to make in your quest to achieve needle craft level 9000.

Now we’ve got three more stretch goals to introduce!

The next 2 stretch goals add new packs of Special Requests that you can make during the game. The game already starts with some pretty cool items to make like Snugglesaurus, but we wanted to expand what those can be by creating items inspired by popular cozy things we all enjoy as well as nerdy things we wish to come to life.

 Goal 4 – Sweaters Pack ($39k)

The first stretch goal pack of Special Requests is the Sweaters Pack. It has patterns for Weezer’s iconic unravelling sweater song called “Undone,” the ever wholesome and ever lovely sweater worn by a certain friendly neighbor, a nostalgic and rockin’ spacesuit sweater, as well as the terrifying & tattered sweater worn by that guy who haunts people’s dreams. Help us get to $39k to add these sweaters to your collection.

 Goal 5 – Sci-Fi Pack ($43k)

Next up is the Sci-Fi Pack. This is a pack has some of our favorite science fiction icons. The Sci-Fi Pack includes a timey-wimey scarf, a Cunning Hat, a weapon for a more civilized age and a little bit of trouble. We love repping our nerdom, and we hope you do too! Let’s get to $43k so we can all wear our nerd badge proudly.

 Goal 6 – Custom Action Markers ($47k)

The last of this group of goals brings a bit more customization to the action markers. Right now, there are four identical action markers for each player to use to indicate what actions they’re doing during game play. It just helps you keep track of what action you’re doing and when.  It also allows you to strategize actions based on what your competitors are doing.

Just a bit of recap on where we are currently: There are four different crafter types in the game. Thanks to your help, we’ve already added four new characters, adding one to each of the four crafting categories.

The breakdown looks like this:

Master Crafter – Derrick & Amara

Thrifty Shopper – Rebecca & Theo

Color Specialist – Neeha & Alex

Yarn Spinner – Ted & Eliza

Instead of having identical action markers for each player in the game, this $47k stretch goal would allow us to include unique action markers for each of the 4 types of crafters in the game. Your action marker would then become another way to represent who you are playing as and what your skills are.

Huge thanks to everyone who has supported us this far! Keep spreading the word of ArchRavels and help us hit these new amazing stretch goals!

P.S. There have been some questions about add-ons and YES those are coming! They’ll include individual pieces of the Deluxe Edition (for those that maybe want some of the deluxe items – but not all of them) as well as the chance to add pins, stickers, patches, totes and other ArchRavels related goodies. We’re making a few updates to how we offer those items in reaction to all the great comments and feedback we’ve gotten from y’all so far. So, stay tuned!
