We’re in strange times and XYZ Game Labs is very sorry for being silent for so long. We wanted to take some time as a company and as human beings to make sense of the world and the people around us as we grapple with the Coronavirus crisis. To put in perspective, we had to figure out a new way of life as routines changed drastically: No gym, working from home while homeschooling young children, losing a job, conventions cancelled, and having no regular social interactions.

That said, we’re very relieved to announce that we’re starting to understand our life a bit better. We’re fighting back in our own ways whether that’s going to therapy, working on home projects, spending time with family, making masks, and hunkering down to design new games. All things considered, we’re grateful that our family and friends are okay, healthy, and we’re excited about the progress on new games.

Online Store

One of the projects that we worked on during quarantine was the launch of our online store and some quarantine discounts.

We have RobotLab on sale for $10 and the Inoka Alpha Edition for $5! We also have a free version of RobotLab PNP available on PNP Arcade.

ArchRavels Update

As for ArchRavels, we don’t expect any delays in production which we’re glad about. We’ve received a sample of the neoprene mat. We have to make a couple tweaks to the layout for it to fit properly.

The sample of the wooden deluxe bowls is en route. Its last whereabouts is in Japan. After that sample, the next items we’re expecting are the blank physical proofs. It should have the test of the plastic Game Trayz inserts. Once we receive these items, there will another meatier update with photographs to share with you all!
